Belly dance can be done by any person that is able to move (i.e. almost everyone). Any age, size, gender, or ethnic background. In the Middle East and other Arab countries, belly dancing is a regular part of celebrations and everyday life. It is enjoyed at most family gatherings and special occasions by women, children, men and even grandmas. There are no special skills or physical requirements for this dance form.

Where is your private studio located?
Anna's studio is located in North Katy, near Cypress, off N Fry Rd. The exact location will be given once you are registered for a lesson.

What do I wear to my lesson?
Wear what you normally would for an exercise class. Form fitting, but not tight or constrictive clothing, is best. Yoga, jazz or exercise pants, leo-/unitards, t-shirts, choli/crop tops, and exercise tops are all fine. Bring a hip scarf, if you have one, but it's not necessary.
