Anna's classes are designed to give you a great low-impact total body workout that increases your flexibility, enhances your muscle tone, and most importantly... is a lot of fun! Belly dance helps promote a healthy body image and self-expression. Perfect for women of any size or age.
All of Anna's group classes and workshops include clear breakdowns of foundational movements to the most advance bellydance techniques. Proper posture and body alignment are stressed to ensure students execute belly dance movements safely and effectively. Core concepts such as professionalism, musicality, and artistic expression are emphasized. Awareness and exploration of important social and cultural aspects of Oriental dance are also discussed.
Anna's fun and light hearted approach to teaching makes even the most physically demanding class an enjoyable experience. She has years of teaching and coaching experience in several forms of dance. Her joy is in helping dancers realize their dance potential. Anna is certified in Keti Sharif's A-Z Original Techniques.
